For this project, our group felt that computer science is an increasingly popular field and a lot of students do not have the necessary resources to begin learning these skills. Our goal is to create a book where topics and activities are outlined for students to learn computer science through physical activities instead of on the computer.

The Internet Rules Lab, directed by Dr. Casey Fiesler, is an information science research-based lab focused on technology and governance. Currently collaborating with a team to integrate ethics in computer science education. We are currently involved with the Responsible Computer Science Challenge funded by the Mozilla Foundation.

Responsible for creating a Passwords Assignment for introductory coding classes. The Passwords Assignment is an introductory computing assignment meant to reinforce topics in 'arrays' and 'strings', while also helping students consider ethical concepts in passwords and password management programs.
AI Ethics Sentencing
Responsible for curating a Recidivism Score computer science assignment for introductory coding classes. The assignment asks students to create a low-level recidivism algorithm as a way to consider the ethical implications computer scientist have to consider daily. Along with this, it serves as an introduction to topics like 'datatypes', 'conditionals', and 'functions'.
